Get ready for your new tile installation by first emptying the room of furniture, valuables, and wall hangings. Since tile cannot be installed over existing flooring, the old flooring will need to be removed and we can advise you on this step. Next, let's assess your subfloor to make sure it is clean, flat, smooth, and ready for your tile installation. If your subfloor is not concrete, we'll need to install concrete backer boards before moving on to the actual tile installation.
Once your exciting tile installation day is here, our professional installers here at Floorida Floors will carefully cut and trim each tile, spreading grout and mortar, and laying each one into place. Once the new tile floors are complete, they will need time to cure and solidify. Wait at least 48 hours before walking on your new flooring to ensure fantastic, finished results.
